deVere Group Awards 2026 celebrations give us four reasons to be proud. We earned four honours at the International Investor magazine awards. They include Best Client Fintech, Best Advisory Practice, Best Advisory Client Service, and, for me personally, Personality of the Year.
People who know the industry inside out judge awards like these, and they don’t hand them out lightly.
Winning one would have been a proud moment. Winning four reflects the work of thousands of people across our business, every day, in offices around the world.
Recognising Innovation in Financial Technology
Of the four deVere Group awards 2026 honours, I’m particularly pleased about the fintech recognition.
Over the last few years, what people expect from a financial adviser has changed enormously.
They want to see their investments in real time, move money quickly, and reach someone when they need advice.
We’ve invested heavily in building digital tools that do exactly that, and it’s good to see the industry recognise the effort that’s gone into them.
Why Financial Advice and Client Service Matter
Tech only gets you so far, though. The two advisory awards matter just as much to me because they reflect the quality of our advice and the experience people have working with us.
Our advisers deal with people at some of the biggest moments of their lives. Someone might be relocating their family to a new country, planning a retirement they’ve worked towards for decades or trying to make sure their children are looked after.
Those conversations need knowledge and care in equal measure, and winning for both our advisory practice and our service tells me our teams are delivering on both.
The timing feels significant too. The backdrop for investors right now is as tough as I’ve seen it in years.
Government borrowing costs are surging, inflation is proving stubborn, and conflicts in Europe and the Middle East are feeding straight into energy prices and markets. In conditions like these, people want an adviser who’ll be straight with them, explain what’s happening and help them protect and grow their wealth. It’s what we try to do every single day.
deVere Group awards 2026 – A Personal Honour Built on Teamwork
As for Personality of the Year, I’m genuinely honoured. When I started deVere in 2002, I wanted to build an organisation that gave internationally minded people access to advice and opportunities they couldn’t easily find elsewhere.
Seeing how far we’ve come since then, and what the deVere Group awards 2026 recognition represents, gives me real pride. I can only do what I do because of the people around me, so this one belongs to them as much as it does to me.
We won’t be resting on these awards. We’re continuing to invest in our people and technology, and we have plenty more in the pipeline for the year ahead.
